Futures Project Communications and Editorial Assistant

12 hours per week (flexible depending on availability)

Salary: NJC Scale Point 20 – 23 (£19,430 – £21,268 pro rata)

12 month contract (with potential to extend)

We are looking for a Communications and Editorial assistant to work on a new ‘Futures Peer Support’ project that matches young people with SEND together with other young people who can give them ongoing advice and support. The Communications and Editorial Assistant will work with Amaze’s Publications and Website Manager to develop and maintain information and communications specifically for young people and their families.

You will need to have excellent, demonstrable writing skills, ideally educated to degree level. You will need to be experienced at using MS Office, particularly MS Word, and capable of picking up related software quickly.

Experience using social media and web content management systems would be an advantage. As would some experience of Photoshop or other imaging software.

The deadline for applications is 12 midday on Monday 15th May. Interviews will be held on Thursday 25th May.
