Amaze is a small, award-winning, local charity that gives information, advice and support to families and children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We are also developing services for young people with SEND.

Amaze manages the Register of disabled children for Brighton and Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council (‘The Compass’), and offers all children and young people on the register from the ages of 0 to 25 a free leisure discount card, the ‘Compass Card’, which provides discounts and special deals across the area. The Carers’ Card, funded by Brighton & Hove City Council, provides offers and discounts to promote the health and wellbeing of carers in Brighton and Hove and Amaze also develops the offers for this card.

We are looking for a new Leisure Development Administrator and Comms Assistant to help with the development, marketing, monitoring and evaluation and promotion of the Compass and Carers’ Card schemes across Brighton and Hove and West Sussex. The post is based in the Amaze office in Brighton.

You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to write accurately in an engaging manner, and have excellent networking, organisational and admin skills. You will need to have experience of using Excel and databases, writing publicity material and using social media and an understanding of the issues faced by children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 16 March.  Interviews will be held on Monday 26 March.
