We are hosting a free talk by a young autistic man, Simon Smith, about what having autism is like for him.

“My name is Simon Smith and I have autism and with the help of my mum Kim, I do a talk called “Being Autistic” – which is about my personal experiences of what it is like having autism and how it affects my everyday life. My talk covers a lot of areas including sensory issues, how my brain works, social communication and interaction and obsessions. “

He and his mum also offer some advice and strategies to help support people with autism, and there will be a Q&A at the end of the session.
