At 16 the law says our children have the right to make decisions for themselves whenever possible.
Would you like to know more about what mental capacity means? And to understand how and when as parents we can act on behalf of someone who may not be able to make decisions for themselves? It may be decisions about major things like property and financial affairs, healthcare and treatment, where a young person lives and everyday decisions like personal care.
This is a FREE, friendly, informal event for parents delivered by Phil Warford of Renaissance Legal, an expert on this subject who will make it easy to understand and help you start to think what you should do for the best.
Start time is 10am with tea/coffee from 9.30am. Call 01273 772289 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
